You aren't missing a single thing. Although, you do like pure stupidity, so maybe you would enjoy the utter waste of time.
I really do. I even had a friend *cough cough* spend a few hours watching one of the stupidest shows ever with me. Some people know him as Ox.

But overall, I think it was a really great movie, I really enjoyed it.
I saw it today! It was so good. It really felt like a follow-up to the original books—like, instead of another in the film series, it was like a book brought to screen, which makes sense because Rowling herself wrote the screenplay. And Newt is adorable. :inlove: Absolute adorkable precious goofball.

Honestly, all of the characters were really strong; none of them fell flat or felt like we could have really done without them. All of them contributed to the story in some way, and all of them established themselves nicely. In general, if there's one thing Rowling does right, it's characterization.

Really? I'm kinda expecting it to be stupid. Like, dancing tattoos? What on earth is wrong with Disney? Or am I completely off?

What's wrong with dancing tattoos? It's a big part of Polynesia culture, which is what the movie is about.

I definitely want to see Moana, and I'm really glad that Disney is making a film with a Polynesian princess. The visuals look stellar so far, and Lin-Manuel Miranda (who wrote the Hamilton soundtrack) on lyrics sounds pretty awesome.

What even is a dancing tattoo? A tattoo of someone dancing?

Moana is on my list of things to eventually see, but Fantastic Beasts comes first. I'm excited to see it after it got the Tiger stamp of approval.

Actually, yeah. I was excited about that part. A Polynesian princess. She seems like a great character with depth and background from what I've seen.

Hey! Can't a girl be unnerved by dancing tattoos and get a break? :P

I enjoyed the show. I got to maybe the 3rd season, then realized they were all the same. But, cool non the less.

I watched Moana in theaters! LITERALLY the best Disney in a while. The music was phenomenal.

It exceeded my expectations, I didn't anticipate how much I would love darling Newt. The storyline was, dare I say, fantastic. It made sense it had to be a longer feature, since we were kept guessing of how the obscurist could be stopped. It was an emotional journey, and the new golden trio were charming enough to be foils for the darker moments. Still though, the magic seemed familiar and strange at the same time.

Who might you be in love with? ;)
