Chess is an incredible game. It's so complex, so difficult to master, it's a whole world in itself. I've been playing quite a bit with my brother since we joined a chess club, and I've grown to love the game. For those who don't already play, I highly recommend it. It's fantastic for the mind, and if you truly understand it, it's easily one of the best ways I know of to entertain yourself. I won't explain the rules, but you can look them up. There's a website for chess players as well, Chess.com, that I'm a part of. If you don't know anyone else who plays, you could join, and play me.

I know how to play chess, but I'm not very good at it..

I actually like chess! I haven't played if for a while, but I used to play HUNDREDS of games on my old PC laptop.

Chess is game for people who like to use their minds!! Hmm...no wonder I don't like to play chess. My brother was beating adults at chess when he was but 9 year of age.

Thinker, I don't think chess is that complex and hard to master I mean my little 7 yr old sister was learning how to play chess.

Well, learning how to play and "mastering" the game are two different things. And I have the first one down, in case you were wondering.

I would consider myself pretty good. Not unbeatable, but pretty good, I win 90% of the games I play.

how can you get so into chess? I find it sorta slow and boring i'm not trying to be mean. =]
