  • While presenting a riddle to the kids at Whit's End, Whit references the city of Detroit (along with Cincinnati and Buffalo) in Promises, Promises, although he doesn't say any states. He attempts to prove that he is in neither of the cities. It is interesting to note that he says that he is "definitely not from Detroit. Wouldn't you agree?" This would indicate that Detroit is probably the furthest of the three mentioned locations in relation to Odyssey.

  • In Why Don't You Grow Up? Erica Clark wants to make a long-distance phone call and asks her mom for the area code for Detroit. There isn't enough evidence to prove that Odyssey is or isn't in Michigan, though it can be deduced that Odyssey is at least a long-distance phone call away from Detroit. However, other episodes indicate the Odyssey isn't in Michigan (see above).

  • Jason Whittaker reveals to Connie in Memories of Jerry that he and his brother Jerry stayed in a cabin near Lake Michigan, but no specific state is mentioned in the episode. There isn't enough evidence to prove that Odyssey is or isn't in Michigan. However, other episodes indicate the Odyssey isn't in Michigan (see above).
