How long have you been a fan of Adventures in Odyssey?
I first heard about AIO when I was
9 or 10 but I wasn't really interested in it at first. however, when I was about
13 I got this weird feeling that I wanted to listen to it. Sooo, once I started,
I got addicted! I've heard just about every episode there is! I'm 16 now, and I
own almost every album!
What is your favorite episode of all time?
That's a hard question because I
like tons of episodes, but I'll try and give you my...hmmmm...top 17 favorites.
let's seeee... "Malachi's Message", "Home Sweet Home", "Connie" parts 1 & 2,
"Naturally, I Assumed", "Pilgrim's Progress Revisited", "Family Values", "Pamela
Has a Problem", "Truth, Trivia & Trina", "Broken-Armed and Dangerous", "Best of
Enemies", "Something Significant", "The Buck Starts Here", "Two Friends and a
Truck", "The Chosen One", "Now More Than Ever", "Green Eyes and Yellow Tulips",
and lastly, "It Is Well".
What is your favorite AIO web site?
I don't know. I know I like the
whitsend.org site, but I also
like this site, the Odyssey Scoop. Although, I do have to say, I come here more
than the other. I think I'll have to rate them equally.
If you could meet one actor, who would you meet and why?
That's another tough question
because I would want to meet them ALL! but...since I only can pick one actor,
I'd have to say Katie Leigh because I really enjoy her character, and I loooove
her voice! I would love to just watch her talk because it's hard for me to match
her voice with her picture.
Which character do you resemble the most and why?
I would have to say Robin Jacobs
because we both have annoying little sisters, and we can be a little
over-dramatic at times. also, Robin isn't too much of a girly-girl, but she can
be when she wants to. Oh, and she doesn't take any bull from anybody! LOL! Oh,
yeah, and sometimes she can get so aggravated that she just blows up. I do that
too. in the immortal words of Robin...(in a rage), "Where's MY pencil!?! How
come I can NEVER find my pencil when I need IT?!!" (from "Melanie's Diary")
Who is your favorite character and why?
I have a lot of favorites, but
Connie is definitely my absolute fave! I just love her outgoing personality, the
way she talks to the kids around Whit's End, and her zeal for Bible study and
God. some of the other characters I like are....Mr. Whittaker, Bernard, Doris
Rathbone, Aubrey Sheppard, Cryin Bryan Dern, Grady, Liz, Rodney, Mandy, Max,
Jack Allen, Jared, Lucy, and Gwen Kablonski. that's not even all of them! I did
like Katrina until her voice changed, but now she just seems too normal. Almost
as if she lost some of her intelligence. I also like Eugene, but now he's just
annoying. probably because he got married and matured 20 years. However, Bart
Rathbone and his new voice beats them all. I use to love Bart, but now... I
can't stand him! he doesn't sound at all like Bart. i know no one can sound
exactly like the old Bart, but c'mon! (no offense to the new guy).
In your opinion, what do I need to change about my website?
There really isn't anything you
need to change, except maybe update it a little more. And if it's at all
possible, update the pictures! Other then that, it's a pretty good website.
If you could change anything about AIO, what would it be and why?
1. Well, first I would make the
Washington family more relatable! they're like the "perfect family" and it is
very annoying!
2. I would put Gwen Kablonski and Max in the show more. Oh, and get a new actor
to play Bart Rathbone ASAP!
3. Also, I think Christ Anthony needs to be in an episode as herself. she's been
hosting the show for 20 years! so c'mon! I think it's about time for her to have
her own episode! She should narrate the episode right in front of the
characters, and follow them around town and stuff. It would be soooo funny!
How do you imagine Whit's End and the town of Odyssey?
I picture the town as quiet and
peaceful. And I imagine Whit's End looking small on the outside and really big
on the inside. a place where kids can go and hang out, make new friends, or talk
when they have a problem.
If you had your own AIO site, what would you put on it?
I would have a bunch of pictures
and interviews with the actors! I also would make a section where people can
review episodes, and a link to other AIO websites, a list of upcoming episodes,
a section to listen to past episodes, a chat room so people can talk to other
fans, and AIO trivia and contest section. Oh, and of course, weekly updates with
lots and lots of bloopers from the studio!
What is your favorite section of
whitsend.org?
Definitely the podcast section
because I love listening to the bloopers, interviews with the actors, and
listening to the Q&A with the producers. I also like the review section.
What is your favorite section of the Odyssey Scoop, my site?
I'm crazy about the Actors and
Crew section because I love looking at the pictures of the actors! I also like
the interview section because I enjoy knowing what the other fans think of the
show and the home page.
Do you have any comments or questions?
Yes, I would like to share one
of my favorite verses:
"Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in
you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ." (Phil. 1:6)
I like this verse because it helps me remember that God has a plan for all
His children, and that I don't have to worry about what I will be or become
because God knows exactly what He's doing. I like to remember that God will
lead me exactly where I need to go.
