That doesn't mean that he's eighty, though, because the series isn't necessarily set in 2014. We could very well still be in the mid-1990s in Odyssey time.

Highly advanced virtual reality technology in the eighties? For that matter, Applesauce? Whit has made advancements in virtual reality that are astounding even today. Who's to say that this version of America couldn't have had SmartPhones ten to fifteen years ahead of their time?

Odyssey time doesn't really make sense in our time. It's its own special place. They get smart phones etc from the outside world, but as soon as you step in Odyssey, time slows, or at least, is not time as we know it. At least, that's my theory. :)

I don't like that idea at all. But I once dreamt they out come of that, and Jason committed suicide. It was very sad.

Yes.
But then again, how long does it take "almost all teens" to get through high school?...

Nooo! Jason would never do that. I hope I never have that kind of dream (even with the horrible things he's been through in my stories, he hasn't gotten to that point).

I woke up from that dream very shaken. I also once dreamt that I was Matthew, and me, Emily, and Jason had to stop terrorists from blowing up the city where I live. That dream also shook me up.

That's terrible! I never have had any dreams about Odyssey, even though I live and breathe the stuff.
