AIO Club Canonicity

I'm having trouble deciding if the episodes in the Adventures in Odyssey Club are canon. I can't remember for sure where it was (I think it was an issue of Clubhouse Magazine) but I think I remember something about the next album being themed around finding things, with the first thing to find being
However, in the latest Club exclusive episode (Swept Away)
So, are the Club episodes non-canon, or maybe they just don't happen in the same order in which they are released? Or maybe I missed something that explains it all away without errors. I have been personally questioning the exclusive episodes' canonicity since the club first opened, but I now have a discrepancy on which to base my assumptions (I think). What do you all think?

They are canon, they just don't occur in order. Swept Away is definitely after "To Find a Penny"

My question is, why is Penny's last name hyphenated? Is it not just Penny Bassett? Like, I've noticed this weird trend with the fandom where we assume that the women who get married on the show hyphenate their maiden name and their husband's last name, but there's never been any canonical evidence for that, and most people don't do it.

I just do it to make sure everyone knows for sure who I am talking about. I would be surprised if there is anyone on here who doesn't know about their marriage, but I've been surprised before.

There is at least one legitimate occasion of this phenomenon in the canon itself. Jana not only did it, but had her children's legal names include a hyphenated hybrid of both last names. I have not listened to the episodes that contain Jana's most recent appearance in Odyssey, but the Golden Age episodes in Albums 2 and 7 reference all three of their last names as "Whittaker-Dowd," even after the divorce and Jana's subsequent custody. I can only assume that for some reason, Jana, in her normal headstrong fashion, pursued this unconventional exercise in nomenclature.
