Is this thing on?

I find these sorts of threads interesting, so I thought I'd try my hand at my own. Pretty self-explanatory. Ask me anything, and I mean anything.

How did you get to know the SS?

TS (not yourself ): If you had one day to do whatever you wanted, be whoever (meaning any occupation), live wherever, without worrying about money, what would you do?

I discovered the SS through the ToO, actually. I think people were whining about the (admittedly poorly-thought out) remarks on the Hunger Games made by SS posters or something. Anyway, I was resistant at first, but as the ToO gradually degenerated into bullying by the oh-so-enlightened older people of the obviously intellectually inferior and religiously indoctrinated younger people, basically throwing discussions about AIO out the window in the process, I gravitated more toward here. (I admit that I get impatient with people, too, but I hope that if I've made anyone feel like I've bullied them, they'll tell me, because I never want to go out of my way to be outright nasty to someone.)

If you can't tell, I...have not parted with the ToO on the most well-opinionated of terms. ;)

You can call me Tiger, if that makes it easier. :)

What would I do...hmm. That's a toughie, haha. I'd probably buy one of those really nice, expensive country homes with all the amenities (converting one room into an art studio in the process), but I would travel to places like Rome or Washington, D.C. to see historical sites. I would also get some of the best martial arts instructors I could to train me personally in self-defense, and I would, of course, have at least two cats.

Languages? I can't think of any in particular...but if I had to, maybe Spanish because of how useful it is.

My favorite artists are all over the place. I mostly just enjoy songs. However, I can't deny that John Williams is one of my favorite modern composers, and I've become rather partial to Taylor Swift.

Yeah Too has that rep. I am surprised I survived.
What is your favorite topic?

My favorite book changes depending on my interests, but right now I'd have to say it's The Book Thief. My favorite series, of course, is Harry Potter. I enjoy others, but I doubt any other series will take the place HP has in my heart.

Define "topic"—like, overall topic of discussion, or topic on here?

Are you just in the SS or are you also in the ToO? (I am suspicious you are Tiger in the Shadows)

(I'm both double posting and bumping because there are about eight billion Q&A threads going and I wanted to join in rather than lurk around like a dweeb. :anxious: )
