I was thinking about how Connie didn't want to marry Mitch because he was always going to be in danger, and he didn't even care. But now that Jason is actually (hopefully) retiring from the agency, that wouldn't be a problem anymore, now would it?
However, with the reintroduction of Jeff, it looks like us Connie/Jason fans might not get our wish. :(
Yeah, Jeff just turned up out of nowhere. From Album 8. Why can't they see there's already a perfect candidate for Connie and they didn't need to bring in a new character for her to 'fall in love with'?

Yes, it got kind of annoying how Mitch was so into the FBI at the expense of Connie. They obviously weren't meant to be, and Mitch was meant for the FBI anyway.

I think with the experience Jason has had in the past, he will know how to prioritize. If he loves her, she will automatically be more important than a job anyway.

I still think of Jason as 20-30 years older than Connie, and probably always will. \:D/

Well, some people ship Whit and Connie, so....

10, even 20 years doesn't bother me. 30...that's getting to be a little much.

I ship Max and Liesel from The Book Thief, which is something like a twelve year age gap, so I'm pretty chill with two consenting adults who happen to have a wide gap in age getting together. But there are some things that are just irreconcilable.

Max and Liesel? Dude, that's just wrong.
Ehhh, the more I think about it though, the more it seems.... okay. And just okay.

To get back to the topic - can Jason be able to settle back in town?

Uh, yeah. I think they are pretty much done with his secret agent stuff. He went through some tough stuff with The Labyrinth and The Green Ring Conspiracy. I don't think he'll so readily jump back in this time.

He might dial it back to be more of a consultant, like Whit.

Jason will join the FBI, where he'll meet Mitch and convince him to break up with Maureen and marry Connie. This will drive Maureen to a life of crime, and she'll team up with Novacom to destroy Odyssey. Unbeknownst to Novacom, Dr. Blackgaard is also trying to destroy Odyssey, and they keep on crossing paths and foiling each other's plans.

Nope. Leave Mitch where he is—not with Connie.

What would be Jason's motivation to do that? Also, Blackgaard is never coming back. Neither is Mitch.

Novacom should come back though.

Yes, but then, the Rathbones must come back and Rodney must marry Connie. :D (Just Kidding)

I actually thought Rodney and Donna were kind of cute in Aloha, Oy!....

But yeah, I really would like the Rathbones to come back. (is there a topic for People who Should Come Back? I think there is....) But it would hardly be the same without the same actor for Bart. :(

Jason + Connie is actually not a bad idea. To me, it may not be the best idea.
