A few years ago I made 2 snowmen that were saluting in the driveway. It was pretty awesome.

Up here in Canada, we don't do snowmen, for the sole reason that it's TOO DARN COLD TO EVEN GO OUT. Like -30. Celsius. Which according to the converter on Google is -22 F., for you Americans.

I made a 6-foot tall snowman on the first day of snow in December. But I didn't get a picture, and it fell over that night, and we haven't had enough snow since for me to make another one.

I made a snow dog... last year I think? It was absolutely adorable. Until its head fell off. But it was adorable nonetheless. I'll have to dig to find the pictures though...

Another one

This is Penny. Penny played hard in the snow yesterday. Penny stayed warm and toasty in the below freezing temperatures because Penny's generous mother allowed Penny to borrow her ski coat. Penny's mother apparently didn't think to mention that her car key, the only key that she had to her car, was in the coat pocket. Penny sled in and jumped in and rolled in and made snow angels in the snow all day long, traipsing ALL THROUGH THE NEIGHBORHOOD, across empty pastures, climbing over haybales, and throwing icicles around. Penny came inside to get warm at the end of the day while her mother was making dinner. Penny's mother was making dinner for Penny's family and Penny's grandma who lived about 10 minutes away. Penny's mom gathered up all the food she was going to take to the grandma's house and went to get her keys out of her coat pocket. UNFORTUNATELY the keys were not in the coat pocket. The single key is somewhere in Penny's neighborhood... Under the snow...

Please pray that Penny finds her mother's car key.

Oh man, I still haven't made a snowman...I've lived here for six months now with actual winter weather, not Texas 85 degree winters, and I have yet to make one. All I've been doing is ice skating. Beth, you have inspired me.

Edit: Does it count if I watched bf make one? I stuck the sticks in the sides for arms...I totally am a co creator.

We haven't gotten enough snow to even make a substantial snowball, much less a snowman... This girl is TOTALLY ready for a BLIZZARD!

I'm in Southern California, so, I can't make a snowman.
