Thanks, friends! :)

These are some expressions and busts I drew for four of my favorite male characters: Trent DeWhite, Danny Fenton/Phantom, Harry Potter, and Mako (from Legend of Korra). I seem to have a thing for lanky brunettes. (Unfortunately, some of the ones on the edges got cut off because I don't like ripping more pages out of my sketchbook than I absolutely have to, but I did my best to make sure that the most vital parts of the images were there.)

I've managed to obtain an obscene amount of Copic markers, so I thought I'd practice with Sam Manson.

Nice work \:D/ I especially like all of the expressions ^_^ Where do you find the most inspiration to draw these?

Wow, Tiger, those four guys are awesome-looking! (and really cute...lol) Have you considered getting commissions for your artwork?

For my part, I had a crush on two of those characters when I was younger. I seem to have the more specific taste of lanky brunettes who wear glasses. ;)

Lovely work, as always. Those markers seem to leave some sort of textured finish (I don't know what the technical name is), it looks cool!

Honestly? That one took me a few weeks. I had all these great ideas for what kinds of expressions I could draw for Trent and Danny, because I had so many to choose from at first, but as I got to Harry and Mako, I was much more limited because I didn't want to do the same kind of expression twice. I had to think pretty hard about which types of faces I hadn't drawn yet.
Helios wrote:Have you considered getting commissions for your artwork?
I did consider doing that this summer, but I just wasn't able to make that happen. =/ And as it's fairly late in July and most of the people who'd be commissioning me are heading off to school in only a few weeks, it's not really worth the effort right now.
Smaug wrote:I had a crush on two of those characters when I was younger.
You're not alone; I had a crush on three of them. ;) I tried to refrain from making Trent look too conventionally attractive, but I failed spectacularly and I'm okay with that.

And now it's time to play "how deep is Tiger in a shipping trashcan?", the part of the thread where Tiger proves that she is nothing more than a piece of shipping garbage for two minor characters who haven't appeared on their show in almost a decade.

As some of you may be aware, I have a headcanon that as part of the process of rebuilding their marriage, Rachel and Stephen Straussberg renew their vows in a modest yet lovely ceremony (Mandy is the maid of honor, David is the best man). At the reception, Trent and Mandy are hanging out together when a slow song comes on and one of them (even I don't know who) suggests a dance. "You know, as friends." (But please, they're not just friends at this point, and everyone but the two of them is fully aware of it.)

and then i drive a stake through my heart because that sounds like a much less painful fate than thinking about this

Have you drawn any pictures of David Straussberg? I'm sure you'd make him look extraordinarily cute. ;)

it's beeyutiful! So sweeet.

(PS, the rough texture of the paper makes it look a little bit like Trent forgot to shave :P)

It seems Mandy has a case of the Green-Eyed Monster. (Not to worry, though—she's still got him wrapped around her little finger.)

So I haven't posted anything in months and am now crawling out of the woodwork to deliver unto you poor people this stupid comic inspired by re-listening to "A Class Reenactment" one time too many:

Ha ha ha! Epic, so going on Odyssey Moments (if you submit it.)

I accept that look for Dern as canon. And how refreshing, in fan art, Marvin doesn't look so dimwitted you have an irrational urge deep down to punch his teeth out.

I love it!
What a fun sketch, you've actually captured the characters as I imagine them.

So I haven't drawn stuff I really liked in a while, and since I've been relistening to a lot of AIO lately, I wanted to pay tribute to my smol queen:
Image
Clockwise from left: Liz, Alex, Mandy, Marvin, and Trent.
I call it "Everybody Loves Mandy". \:D/

(I know Trent's and Marvin's hair and skin needs to be touched up, but I was having trouble with uploading the image and just decided to stick with what I have for now.)

Wow, Tiger, this is gorgeous! The concept is adorable and I can't get over how incredible your colors/shadows/shading/everything is. There's a lot of depth to it if that makes sense? Especially in Liz's hair, it's beautiful. I love your art!
