103). Its perpetuity has allowed it to survive the culture it was birthed in, giving us awesome references to the world of thirty years ago (Mikhail Gorbachev, kids standing in line to play arcade games, the popularity of shopping malls, etc.)

104). The thoroughness of its creators, which ensured my previous reason. Seriously, though, what other show, in any entertainment medium, starts with a fifty-page biography of its star character being written?

Yes. I believe that I heard that on one of the old "Gold Audio" bonus interviews with Steve Harris and Phil Lollar. One of them (my mind is inclined to say Harris) sat down and wrote a complete biography for the newly-christened John Avery Whittaker. You can check the accuracy of this, but I have read that the Odyssey team still utilizes the manuscript today, occasionally taking factoids out of it and releasing them into new episodes.

I would never have really considered a specific person to be a reason for Odyssey's greatness. I invest myself in the characters to be portrayed, as finding out about the people behind the characters typically saddens me. However, AIO has had some of the best vocal talent of all time, especially in their early years.

108). The utilization and further promulgation of the talents of men such as Hal Smith, Walker Edmiston, Parley Baer, Earl Boen, Alan Young, and Dave Madden in a world where they are being either ignored due to a shift in consumer demand or their works lost as they retire and pass away.
