Mine is probably the official guide. I like it because it tells all about the episodes and characters.

I've only read two (well, three if Adventures in Oddity counts) I used to have The Stranger's Message and The Case of The Mysterious Message.

I don't remember the plot of the Stranger's Message, but Whit looks kinda like Mark Twain on the cover and the stranger looks sorta like a neighbor of mine.

I remember liking The Case of The Mysterious Message although I only remember part of the story. Alex was one of my favorite kid characters so it was fun to get another Alex and Cal story.

Adventures in Oddity was a fun little book, but I only read it a couple times before I gave it to a friend as a last minute birthday present because I forgot to buy him a real gift. 10/10 though. It was hilarious and informative with great Will Ryan illustrations too. I think I'll go for the audio version if I buy it again though.

I've read a good amount of the AIO books. I've read all the Blackgaard Chronicles books, both the Mysteries in Odyssey books, and all the Young Whit books. I've also read The Official Guide: 25th Anniversary Edition, Captain Absolutely, the Kidsboro book The Fight for Kidsboro that compiles all the novels, and a bunch of the books in the Imagination Station book series. I've also read six of the seven Last Chance Detective novels.

Out of all of these, I can't say I have an overall favorite. I really enjoyed the first book in the Mysteries in Odyssey series, The Case of the Mysterious Message. But I also really liked the first book in the Young Whit series, Young Whit and the Traitor's Treasure. I am a big fan of comics, so I really enjoy Captain Absolutely. But then again, The Official Guide is pretty cool as well.
I have way too many favorites. :anxious:
