Although it is an adorable picture, I'm a little disappointing by the lack of originality in hairstyles. Is there anyone here who has had the same hairstyle their entire life, as this picture suggests? Eh, I suppose I'm being too nitpicky.

Emily's only a preteen, though, which means that she probably hasn't changed her hairstyle before; most girls don't go through drastic hairstyle changes at her age or before. She looks like she's about five in that picture, which means that she was at least able to articulate that she did or did not want her hair worn a particular way; it's not unrealistic to suggest that over the course of her childhood her preferred hairstyle remained "short + headband". It's a very practical style, which is fitting for someone who is so logically minded.

Heh, yeah, that does make sense. I guess I was speaking more from experience, cause I changed my hairstyle several times when I was younger.TigerShadow wrote:Emily's only a preteen, though, which means that she probably hasn't changed her hairstyle before; most girls don't go through drastic hairstyle changes at her age or before. emily is so boring she definately does not deserve this much attention!!!T.S. (myself) wrote:Yeah, there have been a lot of Emily clubs. Off the top of my head, we have the ERK, KRE (formerly Emily Stinks club), True Emily Haters Club, Advocates for Emily's Change, The Emily club, the I have No Personal Opinion about Emily Club, the Bernard's Better than Emily Club, the Jay's Better than Emily Club, the second ERK, and several others that I don't remember. Except for the first two, they never got many posts or interest, so they have been locked or deleted.
Historically, the KRE has been pretty tolerant of Emily-neutrals, so they are certainly an option for someone who likes castles and doesn't care about Emily.
Edit: I found another Emily club (created as a joke): AFERTS. It stands for Advocates For Emily's Remaining the Same. I was also wrong about the I Don't Give a Wet Banana about Emily Club. Although it has been referred to as such, its actual name is the I have No Personal Opinion about Emily Club.

If she doesn't deserve attention, why are you posting in an Emily club?

First grade: cut to bob for the first time
Third grade: kept at shoulder length
Fifth grade: Got bangs
Not SO dramatic, right? These are all so small. But then..
Sixth grade: cut to a boy's length and dyed purple
No dramatic changed, huh?

And most girls I know haven't. I'm in high school and I know girls who haven't changed their essential hairstyle since we were in elementary/middle school together.
Maybe I'm not judging her properly, but does Emily really seem like the type of girl to be so fixated on her hair as to style it differently in accordance with fashion trends anyway? Like I said, Emily is a practical person; the headband keeps the excess hair out of her face, while the short length keeps the ends from getting too much in the way. (Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if she got a pixie cut when she got older.)

I don't know. I never liked Emily, just thought she was boring and dumb as the majority of the new kids are. But then I found out how many people were raving about her and I started disliking her profusly! It just makes me sick the way Pound Foolish drools over her!!!underseasie wrote:If she doesn't deserve attention, why are you posting in an Emily club?

Well, of course non-ERKers can post here, we can't really stop you.
And actually I can think of several people who could tell you what to do.
