Re: Ask Countesss
I was going to say that we speak in secret code, but science guy is right, she's just talking to herself. =) Did you know you're basically Hillary Clinton? You have secret emails, you have *cough* scandals, a lot of people like you and a lot of people don't, and you both dream really big but fail in...

Thanks for telling us TS, I hope if there are any sheltered kids on here yet that they can learn from you and see that different sexual orientations doesn't make you a bad person, or someone to avoid... I hope they learn to be just as loving as towards any person. =) I'll be praying for you too, you...

Re: Outward Adornment
I usually raise my hands several times as I pray. Talking about prayer would be a good discussion actually, but that's not the topic here. I /would/ say "seeing as you are SDA you probably do believe that" (since it seems you still mostly hold to OT laws), but I shall quiet my trolling way...

Leviticus 19:19 ‘You shall keep My statutes. You shall not let your livestock breed with another kind. You shall not sow your field with mixed seed. Nor shall a garment of mixed linen and wool come upon you.' 1 Peter 3:3-4 (NKJV) Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, weari...

Kungfuniamo, I'd be really interested for you to explain more about your beliefs on miracles, testimonies, and more. I never heard Sola Scriptura taken to such an extreme but nothing surprises me anymore in protestantism. Almost all Protestant Christans I know and heard of are firm believers in the ...

Re: Movies
Has anyone seen "Old-Fashioned" yet? It looked pretty good, but I'm not so sure that my dad would want to watch it... Thinking it might be a good movie for when he's on a business trip... I would recommend not watching it.... I know you're conservative and will think it's a great idea, bu...

Re: Mandy and Trent
AHA. I found the thread! I have questions for the Trandy fandom (aka Tiger) and don't want it just in some q&a. =p SO. Did Trent help Mandy during her parents divorce? Or was he oblivious like he was in Mum's the Word? Did Mandy text him while in the hospital? When did Mandy realize she liked Tr...

Introvert or Extrovert?
Of the AIO characters, who do you think is introvert and who extrovert? I'm going to make this extremely simplified and say a person can only be one of those two, not a combination. One definition of these two words are: Introverts (or those of us with introverted tendencies) tend to recharge by spe...

IS ODYSSEY COMMUNISTIC PROPAGANDA!?
I just realized The Other Side of the Glass said big business can do bad and that their should be government regulations on them. (well, at least implied) HOW ANTI-CAPITALIST CAN THEY BE?!
At least they acknowledge immigrants shouldn't be in the US.

Re: Straussberg Story Arc
Just finished listening to this again. I have mixed feelings. I really love the darkness and realism that is throughout the saga, divorce isn't just this far off terrible thing sinners do that ruins kids lives, but its something close to home and real and dark. I especially love it didn't happen to ...

Buck and Jules
Legacy and some of Connie the Counselor seem to heavily imply the Buck and Jules ship. What do you think? Did you expect AIO to push the ship in this early? I thought Buck and Jules' relationship was always a bit odd since it seemed like Jules just met Buck and suddenly they were like insta-friends ...

Re: Vote for your favorite movie of 2016
It switched from planet to planet so many times that I lost track of what was happening, and by the end literally the only character name I could remember was Jyn Erso's. I really only started liking Rogue One when things started coming together on Scarif. I remember now that this was a big complai...

I had to memorize 7 pieces, then three were musicianship (ear training, transposing, and sight reading), so that adds up to ten. What exams are you doing with? Mine doesn't have grades, so I don't think we have the same one.

Re: Chatter in the Booths
I just completed my busy day of performing. I had a guild audition this morning where another piano teacher assessed my playing of 7 memorized pieces. Then tonight I had my first piano recital. I was super worried about them but I survived with a whole lot of prayer. It was fun.

Re: Movies
I read Coraline by Neil Gaiman a few weeks ago, and just watched the movie on Netflix. It is sooo good. o_0 It takes the interesting, creepy book and makes it so much fuller and deeper, getting across the point a lot better, I found, than the book did. Very enjoyable.
