Local parents are protesting the release of a
new selection at county video stores. Members of the Revenges Are Terribly
Silly (RATS) Society say that the latest release by Smith-Hammer Films
Revenge of the Killer Zombies-Part 3 is not fit for public viewing.
"We're not protesting the movie's theme. We're protesting the mistakes in
the background of the movie," says RATS president Dan Igan. "The errors in
this movie are simply unacceptable."
In a press release, the Society named more than one hundred errors in the
film. "The Maymore dishwasher in the background of scene 86 is shown opening
from the side when everyone knows that it opens from the bottom. And the
'intensity setting' on the dishwasher is set on 11 when everyone knows that
'intensity' on that specific dishwasher can only go to 10," says the
release. Other specific problems noted in the press release were the
misnamed rock formation in Wyoming (the movie called it Spud Peak instead of
Devil's Tower) and a tornado that spun counterclockwise despite occurring in
the Southern Hemisphere (where everyone knows the tornados spin clockwise).
