What
happens when Odyssey goes off the deep end? Find out in the
upcoming Album 55: The Deep
End. Thanks to Tyndale,
the summary for the album is now available:
Jason Whittaker discovers a life-threatening plot in the
works after he tracks the villainous Mr. Grote to London. In
Odyssey, rumors fly when a wedding brochure is mistaken for
an announcement and everyone thinks Connie is getting
married. Eugene and Katrina hear unsettling news about their
future. And Kids' Radio tells the exciting story about how a
back-country man with a simple desire for peace winds up on
the front lines of World War I. Amidst all of the conflict
and comedy, our pals in Odyssey learn that being in over
their heads can be a very touching and funny experience when
God is put in the center of it all.

We're hitting you with a double dose today here at The
Odyssey Scoop! We're pleased to post our next two reviews of
the fall 2011 Adventures in Odyssey season, thanks to
our reviewer Ben Warren. First up, you can read our review
of
Forgiving
More... or Less:
Forgiving More... or Less
is your average Adventures in Odyssey episode. That's not a bad
thing. Calling an episode ''average'' means Adventures in Odyssey did
everything you expected it to do. It may not add much to the series, but
you've now spent 25 quality minutes and are now a little wiser. And for
whatever I didn't like about this episode, I easily forgave it.Read full review...
Despite being one of the season's simpler
episodes, it's delightfully engaging and follows a back-to-basics formula. A
kid has his realistic problem; Connie and Eugene have theirs; and Whit
travels between both stories and does what he does. Simplicity may be this
season's motto, but it works best in You're Two Kind.Read

season. Until then, catch up on our season reviews. It's definitely been an

On
November 2, the
WBCL Radio Network—a
Christian radio station based in Fort Wayne, Indiana—conducted
an interview with voice actress Katie Leigh, our very own Connie Kendall. In the
interview, Katie discusses a variety of topics, including
her involvement with Adventures in Odyssey for over
two decades.
Interestingly, Katie recently spoke to college students at a
chapel service at Taylor University (connected to WBCL) on
November 7th. Taylor University's Adventures in Odyssey
Club also hosted a special Q&A with Katie on campus and a
variety of activities with Katie Leigh during her visit.
And for those of you who missed out on all the excitement,
we've obtained permission from WBCL to post Katie's radio interview in our Audio Interviews
section. It's certainly a special interview you won't want
to miss! Click here to listen.

bus with the music group Sierra, her brother Cooper acting
on Adventures in Odyssey, and playing Barrett's friend
Priscilla.

On the side of the fans, the

interview with Andre
Stojka, voice of John Avery Whittaker (2009 and
onward) and is asking fans to submit their own questions to
be featured
. Stay tuned in the
days ahead. We will keep you posted when this interview
becomes available.
Anger Mismanagement...had multiple story-lines that don't quite fit
together. They may work, thematically; however, the episode feels too
cluttered and doesn't know what it should be focusing on. Quality is more
important than quantity; I'd rather hear one really good story than three
mediocre ones.Read full review...
