If
you've ever written a term paper before, you'll know my meaning
when I say that they are a painful waste of effort. The teacher
is the only one who reads it after you spent over a month
planning, gathering materials, researching, writing draft after
draft, and finally turning in the final copy on the day it's
due. Term papers teach you patience, if nothing else...
...and
my term paper has certainly been keeping me busy. I have
been running here and there, worrying about last school projects
for my last year in school, and having a fit. Well... not quite.
But if you've been wondering why I haven't been keeping up with
my Reviews, then you'll know I have a lot
to think about. The rest of the AIO season is underway and I
need to get caught up. I've officially turned in my term paper
(hallelujah!), so now maybe my focus can be re-directed to the
website. I have a lot planned!

The
only excitement on the web right now is the mention of some AIO
products over the past few years that haven't quite met the
standards of AIO quality. Head on over to the
Soda
Fountain to read a little more about the common errors in
the product line.

So
I was doing a little surfing the web yesterday and discovered
some AIO news. The next installment of the audio series, #42,
will be titled, "No Way Out," likewise corresponding
with the name of an AIO episode. I'm really looking forward to
the rest of the season; it looks to be pretty interesting.

As
we should all be aware of, Eggshells [#542],
airs on radio stations across the country today! Connie
returns to Odyssey after her long trip and, after such a
life-changing experience, the gang at Whit's End isn't sure how
to act around her. It sounds to be a pretty interesting plot
and mid-season opener. Be sure and tune in! I'll be flipping my
dial today.

Don't
forget that a new AIO episode, Eggshells, airs tomorrow!
Zone in on what's going on in Odyssey. It looks to be a pretty
interesting episode as Connie returns from her trip across the
country. Find out what it's all about tomorrow!

Just
a little aggravated about something. I tend to forget about some
of my projects, one of which I mentioned as an upcoming update
on the site. Blast. It looks like I should get back to work on
that. Just keep waiting... patiently.

Well,
the official information on the new radio show has finally been
released! The Official Site
has linked to a special website dedicated to behind-the-scenes
information on "The Last Chance Detectives," a new
series which will be airing for 12 weeks this summer. Click
here
to learn more. I didn't want to even talk about this until
official information was released, even though a little was
already released through Briargate Media. Apparently, Jason
Whittaker will be in this spinoff-type series, yet it isn't
exactly related to Odyssey. Don't ask me why. If you
liked the videos produced years ago, then I'm sure you won't
have too much trouble enjoying these dramas. I'm certainly
looking forward to it.
News
just seems to be popping up out of nowhere! Also at the
Official
Site, a
new section has been released to get the word out
about In Hot Pursuit. It
contains a coloring page, a special interview, and further
information. It's definitely worth checking out. The Whit's End
website has also done this type of design in the past to familiarize web
audiences with new Odyssey videos on the market. Check it
out.

I
was doing a little shopping yesterday for some AIO products and
checking for availability, when I happened upon the new design
to Tommy Nelson's website.
It's definitely a step up from its previous design, although the
pages load significantly slower. The site design is one I look
forward to enjoying every now and then, so when I say something
like that, it means that the website is very professional. It
follows an orange and white layout and also includes large
images of each product available. You may also be interested in
checking out the newly-redesigned
Tyndale.com
as well, which was released not too long ago. It's interesting
to point out that the Thomas
Nelson website is blue and white. In case you didn't know,
Thomas Nelson and Tommy Nelson are one and the same. They gave
the name 'Tommy' to kid-ize the product branch, and AIO's
product line is known under that name. Check the back of one of
your albums!

Busy...
busy... so stinking busy! I have been bombarded with so many
things as of late and it's keeping me busy to the point of
insanity. I have a research paper due Friday, a novel to read,
study guide questions, character analysis packets, a project,
another project, and yet another project, as well as graduation
things to take care of. Whew! When will these
"educators" let up? I feel as if I haven't really been
lingering around even though I have kept you updated as I am so
stinking busy! It looks as though things will clear up just a
little in the days to come.

Wow,
the Novacom Saga sure had us talking amongst ourselves! Back
when the story arc aired, fans everywhere were excited for the
new episodes dealing with Novacom and Andromeda. I was just
glancing around the AIO site world and was able to re-enjoy the
"Novacom Q&A" over at the
Soda
Fountain. Why not head on over as you await the new episodes
this April?

Today
is the day we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior.
He died so that we may be saved from our sins. It is Easter
Sunday, perhaps one of the most special days of the year. So
take some time out today. Pray, read God's Word, and remember
the love of a humble servant: Jesus Christ.

Just
in case you haven't noticed, the
Official
Site has finally posted the winners to the "Name the
Album" contest. If you entered, I'm not going to release
that information, so you're going to have to head on over and
check it out for yourself. I'm still waiting around for a
contest that I can legally enter (age matters we're talking
about here).

There
isn't anything really exciting going on in the AIO world this
week. My lack of interesting updates explains it. However, you
can head over to the Soda
Fountain and have a go at the Trivia section. I'm still
dabbling around with a few things. I'm sure you'll be seeing
them soon.

April 5, 2004
As
the beginning of the week just rolled around, I am looking
forward to preparing more things for the site. I still need to
work on getting the "Classics Albums" pages updated
and reformatted, and after that I will be focusing on some other
things. It should be a pretty tedious week. I also have a few
fan reviews to get sorted onto the website, though that may wait
another week or so. We'll see.
Friday,
April 2, 2004
As
a small update to enhance the site, I finished reformatting all
the Albums pages to match the current look of the Albums
section. I will be applying a similar format to the other
sections over at Merchandise soon, and I will also be expanding
the section even more. If you head over now, you'll notice that
all the albums except for the Classics albums (haven't gotten to
them yet) have nice, crisper pictures. Every album in the Original
Series can be viewed from cover to cover in larger form. Also I've sprinkled a
few images you may recognize in the newer albums. This is an
ongoing project, so you won't be able to see what's been updated
on the 'Site Additions' column at your right. I'll just have to let you know
when things are taking shape. The
Schedule
for April is now up as well. Until the next update!

In
case you're wondering, I don't have any I SLAP FLOOR jokes up my
sleeve. I had considered posting information about a
"new" Adventures in Odyssey album, and even an
image of the preliminary cover art (an image I created myself), but I thought that would be
a cruel thing to do. So I won't. I have, however, updated the
Archives
with last month's updates. Go slap somebody else's floor if
you're looking for a good laugh.
